While doing humanitarian work in Syria, Kayla Mueller was taken hostage by ISIS in August 2013 and killed in February 2015 at the age of 26. Kayla was a compassionate and devoted humanitarian. She dedicated the whole of her young life to helping those in need of freedom, justice, and peace.
Sons of Orpheus, Saint Paul's Harp Choir, Fred Astaire Dance Studio International Dance Champions, Zsolt Fáskerti and Eszter Ocsovszki will perform. Silent art auction, raffle tickets, and speakers: Pastor Tony Dawson Saint Paul's Methodist Church, Mueller Family, Mayor Rothschild, Congressman Grijalva Community Non-Profits and Leaders.

Proceeds from “An Evening of Love Songs” will be used in part to fund the “Glassman Foundation Music in the Schools Concert Series” which sends musical groups from the UA School of Music into middle schools throughout Tucson.
